ACLC 2026 Bowl Show Rules

Show Rules/Requirements

  • Entries can begin to be registered August 1, 2026

  • Registration ends at 11:59PM on Friday, September 11, 2026.

  • Entries must be submitted no later than this date.

  • Entries for the show will not be accepted after this time.

  • All entries are free to club members, $5 for non-club members

  • No walk in’s.

  • No more than 3 entries per person.

  • Only one specimen is permitted per entry.

Entry Qualifications and Equipment

  • For all classes, entries shall be as described with their scientific name with the corresponding class number annotated.

  • All entries will be provided with 2.5 gallon Critter Keepers from the Clash to display their fish. Please mind your fish size.

  • Air will not be provided

Judging and Awards

  • All exhibits must be set up between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm on September 19, 2026.

  • The show will begin being judged at 12 pm. Entries can be reclaimed at 1:00 pm

  • There will be one award for each class/category, the award will be $30 ACLC bucks

  • *ACLC bucks can be used for thing such as group buy payments, membership fees, auction fees, swag, etc.

 

Class 1: South and Central American Cichlids

Class 2: African Cichlids

Class 3: Guppies Mollies Swordtails Platies

Class 4: All other Livebearers

Class 5: Plecos

Class 6: All other catfish and bottom dwellers

Class 7: Tetras, Barbs, Danios, Rasboras

Class 8: Anabantoids

Class 9: Rainbowfish

Class 10: Killifish

Class 11: Shrimp
